Why we chose it

We were tired of beds that looked lovely for a week and then surrendered to a single afternoon of determined chewing. This one is made from heavy yarn-dyed canvas — the sort of fabric that takes a bit of effort to get through — with a bolster all the way round for dogs who need something to rest their chin on or push against. The nautical stripe is classic enough to sit in a corner of the living room without apology, and the whole cushion unzips for washing, which means you are not buying a new bed every time someone rolls in something questionable.
