The Chase Ball

£15.99

Interactive Rolling Ball Toy.

Some days, Keke wants to chase absolutely everything. Some days, we simply can't keep up.

This little rolling ball helps fill that gap. It sets off with a gentle tap, changes direction when it meets furniture, and keeps the game going without needing someone on the other end of a wand toy. It's an easy way to add a bit of movement and excitement to an ordinary afternoon.

Keke has always loved chasing games. The trouble is, she's usually ready for another round long after we're ready for a cup of tea.

We added this because it gives her something to stalk, chase and pounce on when we can't be her full-time entertainment team. It doesn't replace playing together, but it does make those wonderfully energetic moments a little easier to keep up with.

The K&S Test

Keke

Chasing games are firmly at the top of Keke's favourites list. This little ball gets her moving almost straight away.

Seven

Seven was interested too, but we quickly realised it isn't built for determined Golden Retriever teeth. A curious sniff and a gentle play are fine. A proper chew is another story.

From Yan & Nicole

From Yan

One thing I quickly learned is to keep it charged. Keke has an impressive talent for batting it into the most awkward corners of the house, and finding a silent ball tucked under furniture is much easier when it still has a little battery left. Other than that, it's become one of my favourite ways to let her burn off some energy while I get on with things nearby.

From Nicole

I'd happily recommend it for cats and even smaller dogs that enjoy chasing moving toys. For larger dogs, though, I'd skip this one. They can easily chew through it, and it simply isn't designed for that kind of enthusiasm.
